Calendar Description • Common Year Calendar • Leap Year Calendar
Natura Diversitas is a solar calendar divided into 13 months of 28 days each, with an intercalary celebration day known as Yule added to the end of the year to bring the total days to 365. Due to the equal months of the calendar, every year begins and ends on the same day, resulting in the calendar being reusable every year. The calendar features a four day typical work week, with Woodsday, Tideday, and Sunday being days off. The calendar has a focus on identity, with a large number of LGBT and mental health awareness days. There is also a focus on the separation of Christian holidays from Modern Pagan holidays, with the main alteration being Christmas landing on what in the Gregorian calendar would be September 25th. Natura Diversitas addtionally includes two zodiacs: the tropical twelve sign zodiac and a thirteen sign zodiac based on IAU constellation positions. Every four years, except for years evenly divisible by 100, but not by 400, an extra intercalary day is added to the beginning of the year to account for the drifting of the calendar.
Corresponding Gregorian dates are in the bottom right corner of each day.
